Rollo’s Outdoor Centre is a family owned and run business based
in Nelson. The Nelson region is unique in that it boasts three national parks: the Abel
Tasman, the Kahurangi and the Nelson Lakes national parks. As well, there are numerous coastal,
bush and alpine areas to explore and it is our intention to supply a wide range of quality
equipment for sale or hire (tramping only) that will compliment your trip, whether you are
camping, tramping or exploring by kayak.
Rollo’s Outdoor Centre was established in 1973 by my father
Bruce. One of Bruce’s gifts to me was a love for the outdoors and a healthy respect and
appreciation for nature and the outdoors. The result was the determination to employ a
knowledgeable and experienced staff and stock quality products that you can rely on. We can advise
you about the right gear for your trip to ensure your comfort and safety and pride ourselves on our
personal service: we’ll talk with you to help you decide on your plans and see what you’ll need to
take with you.
